The episode will centre around Chloe Godard (Amy Lennox), who will be left struggling after learning her mum Ange (Dawn Steele) is the birth mum of Dom, having given birth as a teenager and given him up for adoption.

As Chloe tries to deal with the news, it becomes clear she has had mental health issues in the past, and this huge revelation threatens to push her over the edge.

The episode will then look into her back story and other issues she’s suffered. The episode will also give an update on Sacha Levy’s mental health battle after he starred in a poignant episode last year, and later used his experience in the 20th anniversary episode where he gave a speech at a conference all about what he’d been through.

Holby City airs weekly on Tuesday’s at 8pm on BBC One.
